Chossy approach.

The route from below
.

Pitch 3.

The crux 5.10a overhang pitch.  Pretty pumpy, but super-bolted!

Pilar approaching the crux.

Final pitch, with a stunning view of the southern Ecrins.

Photo taken from the pointy summit, straight down.

Secondary summit with the beautiful evening light and red rock.

View from the base of the route after rapping down by moonlight.
       Pretty sweet.

Bushed.

Tete de Rouget with the sun in behind.  Rouget is a type of mediteranean fish, called red mullet in english.  Our peak looks like the head of a red mullet (guess which peak it is).

View straight up the coolest climbing peak in the area: l'Aiguille
Dibona.  That one's for the next time!!!

Aiguille Dibona.  Pretty cool!!!!!
