October 7, 2007 Yours Truly, Pilar and Bertrand Approach: 1 hour Descent: 5 hours Amount of water: none # of rappels: ~20 Where: Parc Naturel Regional du Vercors Sunshine!!!  Woohoo. The top of the canyon (ie. the bushy creek right behind us). Beautiful moss-covered rock sculptures. Sssssslick!!! Totally dry. It's fall! Mmmm, scummy pool in the middle of a rappel. Wildly beautiful grove of trees in the middle of the canyon.  Likely        several hundreds of years old!  I couldn't figure out what kind of        trees they were, though.  I'm curious. Rappels are getting bigger. And the final doosey: 45 meters, exposed and extremely slick.       Now imagine it with water.  Cool!
