View of the Mallos de Riglos, a famous climber's destination between Zaragoza and
the Pirineos.  This plaque is a memorial to Rabadá y Navarro, two famous local climbers
who opened some of the most amazing long routes in Spain, including a route Pio
and I did in the Picos de Europa, and numerous routes in the Pirineos.  They were the
first to do some of the major faces here in the Riglos, in the 60s.  They died together
on the North face of the Eiger in 1963!!!

First attempt: cooking dinner the night before.

Our route up the Pisón.  We only made it 3/4 of the way up... I'll be back!

Second pitch.

Fun overhangy 3rd pitch crack.

El Puro: a finger of rock sticking out of the main face.  This is
      another party rapping off it.

Yours truly rapping back down the upper chimney with some serious exposure.  Cool!

Sit down finish!

Second attempt: in August, I came back to this same route with
another friend, Miguel Angel, and we managed to summit this
       time!  Woohoo.

MA in the upper chimney near the summit, with alot of air
       below!

The summit of el Pisón, looking east.

Rapping down above the village of Riglos.

Final airy rappel.
