Yours Truly and Pilar
What: Pilar's parents' wedding anniversary

Where: Zaragoza and Barcelona, ESPAÑA

Pilar's familia (priests included).

Ruins of an Arab castle overlooking Zaragoza.

View of Zaragoza surroundings.  The village in the centre is Alfajarín (very Arab name) where we buy the famous jamónes and chorizos from the Archangel.

Guess who's on top?

My flight back was from Barcelona, so I stopped for a quick jaunt up Montserrat.  Good climbing to be had here!  Just below this picture was a guy busily bolting a climb with a
huge hammer drill.  He was placing a bolt about every 4 minutes!!!  Remind me why bolts are so comforting on a climb?

View of Montserrat from below.  The red line is the uptrack, and the yellow line is ... I'll let you guess what it is.  It was Monday, so I didn't see a soul, except at the very summit where a funicular comes up from the backside and spews out dozens of loud British, French and German tourists ... oh
and the occasional paraglider (boy was I jealous)!  About a week after this picture was taken, two road workers were killed just below ....................................................................................................... here ^ somewhere by a rock slide.  That's about where I parked Pilar's sister's car!!!
