Threatening weather.

Destination 1: Chalet des Bannettes (look above the 1 at the beginning of this sentence), 1711m.

Destination 2: Col d'Hurtières (1769m).

I don't want to hear it!!! I'd like to see YOU ski on finely dusted rock and grass with your new skis. Duck feet are practical in some limited occasions, such as this.

Destination 3: the trail was supposed to go down here! Uhm no.

Instead, we climbed up the Rocher de Lorzier (1822 m). If you look VERRRRY closely, you'll see the Mont Blanc hidden behind the highest mountain on the horizon. |
